Account Deletion Request
If you use the PatchPings app or website and wish to delete your account, you can submit a request using the instructions below. CodenVibe IT LLC ("we", "us", or "our") will process verified requests in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable app store requirements.
01Overview
PatchPings users can request permanent deletion of their account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains how to submit a deletion request for accounts created through the PatchPings mobile app or website.
Deleting your account is irreversible. Once processing is complete, you will lose access to your scan history, saved domains, monitoring settings, and any other data tied to your account.
02How to request deletion
To request account deletion, follow these steps:
- Send an email to [email protected] from the email address linked to your PatchPings account (the address used for Google sign-in or support correspondence).
- Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Include your registered email address and, if helpful, the Google account name associated with your PatchPings profile.
- We may reply to confirm your identity before processing the request.
03What gets deleted
When your deletion request is approved and processed, we remove:
- Your PatchPings account and profile information (including Google sign-in association).
- Your scan history, grades, findings, and related metadata stored in our systems.
- Monitoring configurations, alert settings, and notification preferences linked to your account.
- Other personal data associated with your account that is not required to be retained by law.
04What may be retained
We may retain limited information where required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or prevent fraud and abuse. Any retained data is kept only as long as necessary for those purposes and is not used for marketing.
Aggregated or anonymised data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you may be retained for analytics and service improvement.
05Processing time
We aim to complete verified account deletion requests within 30 days of confirming your identity. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is finished.
If we need additional information to verify your request, processing may take longer. We will let you know if that applies.
